The kids had a great second night with their host families.  I've noticed some of them referring to their hosts as "Mom", very sweet.  We sang at Mass this morning, the kids were so impressive, a big sound in a small church.  Last night Father Clarence opened his lovely home to a few singers and chaperones for a "Braai" which is the word for bar-b-que.  His grill was inside the house like a large fireplace built for just this purpose; the food was spectacular.  Such a loving family.  I especially enjoyed getting to know Michelle (Father Clarence's wife) who was willing to answer all my questions about raising children in South Africa.  Everyone seems to be excited for the concert this afternoon.  Again there are flyers around town announcing today's performance.

The chaperones stayed in the End House.  This is a catholic church owned guest house at the end of a road on a cliff overlooking the ocean.  We almost started jumping up and down dancing when we were dropped off - we were so excited. I am looking forward to thanking Father Nobel personally for his friends and their overwhelming support of the children of the chorus.

Tomorrow is Ona's birthday.  She and her sister are looking forward to meeting and staying with their Uncle who lives in Cape Town.
